THE VILLAGE

Situated in the centre of Cornwall, the village of Roche is right between the North and South Coast.

A traditional Clay mining village, Roche has many local conveniences including a family run Butchers, Greengrocer, Co-op, various take-aways, pasty shop two local pubs and a children's play park.
​
Roche Rock is our iconic landmark which can can be seen from the house and is a short walk through the fields. The Goss Moor trail is a mile away on the outskirts of the village.
​
Roche is not a tourist village so it isn't extra busy in the holidays. Being so close to all the tourist areas you can easily visit but then leave the busy areas to come home to Clays House.
